Yesterday we went to a consentration camp, and I was inspered to have a school event about peace. Brideport is getting very crazy as you all know; kids are scared to even walk down the block. The Jews were being killed because of their religion, something they couldn't change, and kids in our neighborhood are being killed for something that CAN be changed after a few years (gang related violence). So I want to put an assembly at harding with the help of Danielle and some other kids from the club, to tie together what is happening in Bridgeport and what we learned at the camp. We want the community to come out and see it, as well as Harding students. It can be a new step towards peace. Once we get back, we will get started on it.
This is such a great idea! Such an inspiring trip!!
